Curating a good relationship with your customers will earn you their loyalty in return. They’ll not only return to you, but they will also be recommending your services to their friends and family.

When a client comes to you, they might not know what they want or be familiar with your services. A personalized consultation is the best way to start building your relationship with clients.

For most customers, their beauty appointments are a form of self-care. As an specialist, you may find yourself becoming a de-facto therapist for your clients. Communication is the most important part of customer service. You want to take an interest in your clients.
Start by asking them about your day or choose ‘soft topics’ like upcoming vacations, holidays, or the latest trends. You’ll build a relationship with your clients in no time.
3. Use high-quality products
Your customers go to you because they want a professional treatment. Part of that includes using high-quality products. Your clients are more likely to come back when you offer them a luxury experience. Part of that curated experience is using the best available products for every treatment.
4. Go the extra mile
Customer service is all about going the extra mile. Add little extras to your service, whether it’s offering product samples or having drinks available for your customers. Going the extra mile will win you serious brownie points with your clients.
5. Make bookings easy
The first impression your clients make is about your booking system. You want to make it as easy and streamlined as possible. While most customers will call you or reach out to you on social media, consider adding a booking system to your website or platform. Potential customers will quickly change their minds if they have to jump through hoops to get an appointment.
